Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Programs: Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Problem Solving: Analyze defects, identify root causes, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 and ISO14001
Team Leadership: Manage and train quality control department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Process Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance and efficiency.
Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, or related fields.
Certified Quality Engineer -plus
10+ years of Quality Management experience
Knowledge of industry-specific processes like Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
Experience managing a team of 5-7 associates
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and interact with supplies and customers.
Strong Attention to Detail- ability to detect and address deviations from quality standards efficiently.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
