Details: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Quality Control Specialist. This will be in support of Capital Projects. Monitor quality management activities for projects including submittal reviews, non-conformance systems, identification/development of corrective action plans as needed, and ongoing sites visits Provides ongoing review, development and update of quality related procedures, guidelines and other documentation Performs ongoing project quality assessment, makes recommendations, and conducts follow-ups to ensure correction of identified project deficiencies Provides monthly quality reports and updates on quality activities and project status for presentation for Senior Management Develops and provides quality related training for contractor/consultant quality personal to enhance awareness of quality processes and requirements Works with various groups/personnel to identify and initiate improvements in processes, procedures, requirements, and activities to ensure the successful execution of capital projects Job Requirements Details: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation or a related field Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years construction experience in quality control including quality management systems (QMS), and all basic quality concepts: quality data collection; quality auditing; and/or system development with quality control programs Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and business staff Knowledge of capital construction contracts and procedures Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including SharePoint, Word, Excel & PowerPoint Familiar and hands-on experience with Quality concepts and processes, including FTA and ISO 9001
