Based in Toledo, Ohio since 1999, GEM Service is part of the Rudolph Libbe Group, serving customers in the Toledo, Cleveland and Lima, and Central Ohio markets as well as southeastern Michigan. For additional information, visit RLGBuilds.comGEM Service is searching for an energetic professional to join our growing team in the role of Quality Control / Technical Support in our NW Ohio office. You will be part of the passionate and entrepreneurial GEM Service team where you will oversee our quality control program, ensuring all deliverables are exceeded on projects, preventative maintenance, field quotes and time & material work. You will also support technicians with technical support and in-house training. This position will report to the HVAC Service Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Weekly site visits / job reviews with technicians. - Utilize current technologies to document customer site visits; to review / evaluate the quality of worked done during preventative maintenance, field quote, projects, and time & material work.- Develop and present training topics, scenarios, and schedules to help keep technicians up to date with new equipment manufacture developments. - Search out manufacture factory training for technician development. - Provide onsite, hands-on training for apprentices as needed or requested.- Receive technical support questions from technicians. SKILLS- Customer service focused approach to problem solving.- Self-motivated to be organized and detail focused. - Team player and a willingness to help fellow associates.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with consistent and timely follow up. - Motivated to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE- Minimum of five years as an HVAC Journeyman working in commercial / industrial facilities.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.GEM Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
