Apex Systems is seeking experienced QC Technicians near Indianapolis, IN for a contract opportunity with a large, international pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company. Responsibilities
- Performs repetitive testing and inspection of the company's products using validated software.
- Performs analyses of finished products to determine conformance to accepted specifications.
- Performs product verifications to ensure products are qualified for production use.
- Performs test stand preventative maintenance procedures for the purpose of ensuring proper test stand operations.
- Investigational testing of production and pilot material, as needed.
- Performs stability testing that monitors product claims, relative to product shelf life.
- Prepares instruments and apparatus according to established procedures to support the testing activities of the unit.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- May be responsible for supporting customer complaint evaluations and event reporting obligations, including but not limited to: product investigations, disinfection, evaluation, and preliminary failure analysis.
- Special projects will be performed as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency and 1+ years of working experience in a lab or production environment.
- Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
- Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.
