Responsibilities- Complies with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training, inspects work area for hazards/deficiencies and initiates action to correct them. Also reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents, including completion of incident reports.
- Testing product properties and recommending in-process adjustments, when needed, to meet specifications.
- Confirming certain proposed in-process adjustments by bench work prior to writing the adjustment order.
- Conformance to the site Business Management System (BMS) training documents and work instructions.
- Entering of Quality Control (QC) test data into the QC database
- Complying with site safety rules and regulations, actively participating in safety meetings, training, work area inspections for hazards/deficiencies and initiating actions to correct them.
- Housekeeping of the QC area, common and otherwise.
- Routine maintenance and calibration of equipment in the QC area, and any relevant equipment outside the QC area.
- A variety of rotating duties, including replenishment of needed QC supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
