Our client is an international Plastics Injection Molding company looking to grow their team in their new Mebane NC manufacturing facility. As a Quality Control technician, you will be working with a team of Quality and Process technicians to inspect the quality of plastic injection molding materials, goods in production, and finished products. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Quality Control common practices, the adaptability to learn about the plastic injection molding industry, and the drive to join a rapidly growing team.Job Responsibilities - - Conduct visual inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and final products.- Approve raw materials based on quality standards.- Report inspection and test findings to the supervisor for further action.- Maintain and analyze quality data trends for review by production staff.- Recommend corrective actions for products with quality issues, in consultation with supervisors.- Keep organized quality records and adhere to safety and company protocols.- Detect material or process defects through observation and testing.- Use statistical methods to assess sample quality and verify final products before delivery.Job RequirementsJob Requirements - - High School Diploma or Equivalent Required- At least one years experience in a manufacturing or production environment required- At least one year of experience working in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.- Experience working with advanced visual inspection systems, and other quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. - Must be able to work for prolonged periods standing, and have the physical strength to lift 50 pounds at a time.- Experience working in Plastic Injection Molding is preferred.
