Provide technical support on the chemistry of products, adherence to quality specifications, and regulatory and environmental compliance. This is for the 3rd shift (M-F from 10:30 PM - 7 AM).
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
Minimum Experience required: 6 months - 2 years of experience in a Quality Control environment preferred. Education may be substituted for experience.
Shift: 3rd shift (M-F from 10:30 PM - 7 AM)
Training Period: Day Shift of 3 weeks (once training is complete employee will roll over to the 3rd shift schedule).
- Responsible for performing chemical testing of batches, line samples, and raw materials along with providing batch and line sample adjustments as necessary.
- Tabulates and analyzes data on the results of the chemical testing.
- Actively participate in Quality, Health and Safety program including training initiatives and adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Ensure products are produced according to the Bill of Material (BOM)
- Timely testing, evaluating and recording test results for raw materials, production batches, and finished products
- After the finished product has been approved, the produced resource is added and consumed resources are deducted from inventory.
- Calculate and provide adjustments to products as required
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Conduct Quarterly Finished Goods Audits
- Conduct internal audits and summarize results for management review for compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Prepare customer Certificates of Analysis as needed.
