How You'll Make a Difference: The Quality Coordinator, Lead will communicate directly with the STARS/HEDIS team members on goals and expectations. The Quality Coordinator, Lead will advise and review home visits required by HEDIS/STARS measures. The Quality Coordinator, Lead will contribute to the overall experience of patient care, the quality of health, and will help reduce the cost of care across the population served. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes telephone calls to patients, providers, and other health care professionals and organizations in support of care initiatives
- Receives, proofreads, and verifies reporting from the health plan against internal systems for accuracy and completeness to appropriately schedule appointments
- Ability to utilize multiple systems simultaneously to schedule member visits. Expected number of appointments scheduled per week/month to be determined by Director of Quality based on current business needs
- Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Provides high quality customer service to both internal and external customers
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 2+ years' experience in a healthcare environment
- Certified Nurse Assistant and/or Medical Assistant Certification in Vermont, is preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
- Experience with verifying eligibility and navigating through insurance portals
