Description I) Job PurposeThe Quality Coordinator supports programs and MHMR's mission by analyzing data to identify quality gaps across all programs. They collaborate with management to implement improvement processes, ensure high-quality service delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous enhancement through data-driven decision-making. This role is crucial for all MHMR programs serving children, families, and individuals.II) Essential FunctionsA) Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs using data analytics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.B) Collaborate with leadership to conduct regular audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with accreditation, certification, regulatory standards, and internal policies.C) Support, develop, and implement quality improvement initiatives based on data insights.D) Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to assess program performances and trends.E) Present data findings to management and stakeholders, guiding them in chart audits and review of program services to quality improvement decisions and strategic planning.F) Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting.G) Ensure adherence to relevant state and federal regulations across all MHMR programs, including behavioral health and IDD areas.H) Prepare for and participate in external audits and inspections, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.I) Assist in the development and delivery of staff training programs related to quality assurance, quality improvement and standards related to NCQA, CCBHC and CARF.J) Support staff in understanding and implementing data-informed quality improvement processes.K) Work collaboratively with program management, staff, and external partners to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.L) Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.M) Monitor program performance metrics and outcomes, providing regular reports to management on quality and compliance issues.N) Recommend and follow up on corrective actions to ensure issue resolution.O) Participate in community and outreach and engagement activities to promote the center's services and gather feedback for quality improvement.P) Ensure client and family feedback is integrated into quality improvement efforts.Q) Performance standards are performed as applicable with MHMR's We CARE values We Connect People in Our Community. R) Performs other job duties or responsibilities as requested or assigned.III) Knowledge of Laws, Regulations, Policies/Procedures, Skills, and AbilitiesA) Understanding of quality assurance and improvement methodologies.B) Knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.C) Comprehensive understanding of relevant state and federal regulations, particularly in behavioral health and IDD services.D) Thorough knowledge of accreditation, certification, and regulatory standards (e.g., NCQA, CCBHC, CARF).E) Understanding of program evaluation and performance measurement principles.F) Knowledge of behavioral health and IDD service delivery systems.G) Familiarity with audit processes and compliance requirements.H) Excellent written and oral communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.I) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skill.J) Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skillsK) Skill in mentoring and coaching others on quality improvement practicesL) Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including leadership, staff, and external partnersIV) Internal & External Customer ServiceA) This position requires extensive internal and external contacts. The employee will accomplish this with advanced written and verbal skills.B) Must demonstrate compassion, trauma-informed care, and safety practices including suicide safe careV) TravelA) Adhere to MHMR Mileage and Travel reimbursement policy and any other aspect regarding travel.B) This position requires driving to and from locations for work and/or may require overnight traveling.VI) Equipment UsedA) Utilized as required for position. Minimum Requirements VII) Minimum QualificationsA) Minimum Education: Bachelor's DegreeB) Defined Education: Public Health, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Health and Human Services or a related field.C) Preferences: NoneD) Substitutions: Associate Degree and four (4) years' experienceE) Years' Experience: Two (2) yearsF) Defined Experience: Behavioral Health, IDD services, or related healthcare fieldsG) License/Certifications: NoneH) Special Courses: NoneI) Supervisory Experience: NoneVIII) Agency RequirementsA) All staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their department as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.B) This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and/or the Division/Director.C) Assigned work hours may change as the needs of the agency change.D) The Functional Title of this position may change as the needs of the agency change.E) All work will be completed within the scheduled work hours. All non-exempt (hourly) employees are expected to clock in and clock out for each work shift, no work should be done off the clock.F) MHMR reserves the right to change, add to or eliminate positions as it deems appropriate. G) Employment is at will, as well as agency needs may change.H) Agency dress code is to be followed at all times.I) Physical on-site presence, including regular attendance and punctuality, is an essential function of this position.
