Job Purpose:
To coordinate all activities associated with Material Reviews and Vendor Quality.
Nature of Duties:
- Maintains control of the material in a secured area.
- Inputs required data into spreadsheets and other databases
- Coordinates actions with various members of the Material Review Board
- Holds daily Material Review Board meetings.
- Sub-Inventory transactions/transfers
- RTV Shipping Debit Memo for returning of materials
- Knowledge of scrapping of materials
- Works closely with Planning and Purchasing Departments
- Works closely with Quality Engineers for dispositioning of NCMRs and getting signatures for sign-offs
- Responsible for daily move ticket Items (non-conforming materials from Production Floor)
- Work hand in hand with Incoming Inspectors
- Perform Internal Audits as required for ISO Certifications
- Create and revise Quality SOPs
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years Incoming Inspection background
- Knowledge of MRB required
- Strong Office and Administrative skills a must
- IPC 610/620 Certification would be an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to coordinate daily MRB meetings and work as a team
- Knowledge of NCMR's (Non-Conforming Materials Records )
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets a must
- Familiarity with Oracle a plus
