The Rehabilitation Quality Development Specialist is responsible for the quality assurance program for part of the Western Region.
The role requires considerable travel in the western region.
This position is remote and the location will be determined with the selected applicant.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Auditing casework records.
* Consulting with staff and management on casework issues.
* Providing training to counselors and other field-based staff
* Administering the promotional testing process for independent rehabilitation counselors.
Selected applicant needs to have the means to travel as the job requires.

* Demonstrated experience providing rehabilitation services to diverse disability groups.
* Demonstrated experience approving casework and service delivery decisions in a rehabilitation program.
* Thorough knowledge of EIPD VR and IL policies and procedures, as well as RSA Federal regulations governing VR Agencies.
Management Preferences
* Knowledge and experience developing and providing training/presentations to internal or external staff and stakeholders.
* Experience working effectively with teams.
* Experience prioritizing tasks and implementing strategies to manage deadlines.
Physical Requirements
* Requires fingering, talking and repetitive motion, standing.

Master s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or Counseling from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in a rehabilitation service program;
OR
Master's degree in a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in a rehabilitation service program;
OR
Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling, counseling, or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in a rehabilitation service program;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
