Hiring Opportunity: McConnelsville, OH Our client is looking to Quality Engineer to be a part of their growing team in McConnelsville Ohio. Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of different engine and automotive components, with the facility in McConnelsville specializing in the manufacturing of powder metal parts for the automotive industry. The quality engineer will lead quality planning and assurance. Qualified candidates will have an engineering background with an emphasis on quality. This individual will need excel in a demanding and fast-paced environment where they will work as part of a strong and highly motivated team to accomplish the projects and other goals. Job Requirements Responsibilities - Establish and strengthen personal relationships with the customer s quality representatives - Manage and attend customer quality audit - Understand customer quality systems (i.e. ZF QR 83) - Perform internal process audits (including suppliers) - Manage Root Cause Analysis and Corrective / Preventative Action for internal and external discrepant material and business problems; - Drive corrective action process for customers and suppliers - Check drawings in terms of measurement issues/techniques/devices - Participate in PFMEA reviews - Ensure compliance with IATF 16979, ISO 14001 and all other used standards - Prepare and update quality documentation to customer requirements (process flow charts, capability studies, inspection reports, etc) - Utilize automotive core tools Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred - Efficient computer skills; Microsoft Office are necessary - Knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes - Strong analysis, critical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Customer complaint and management experience - Ability to travel; domestic and internationally Benefits: - First day benefits (Medical, Vision, and Dental) - Bonus Structure - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - 401K Match - Development Opportunities - Flexible for Hybrid Work
