Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance engineering within our hose manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong background in both quality management systems and manufacturing processes, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and maintain a comprehensive quality management system to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Audit our systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1 requirements
  • Establish quality control procedures and protocols for all stages of the manufacturing process, from raw material inspection to finished product testing.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and manufacturing engineering roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the hose or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as extrusion, molding, and assembly.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
