Job Overview:

The Quality Engineer (QE) will develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing the cost of quality (COQ) and non-conformances (NCRs). This role will be instrumental in leading the charge toward quality excellence by standardizing best practices and working across departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Lines. The QE will also collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure continuous improvement in processes and products.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality or Engineering with a focus on quality in an industrial-related business.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation training.
  • Lean & Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with Weatherford enterprise systems and JDE.
  • Background in document management and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities align with safety, compliance, and HSE policies, and continuously strive for improvement in these areas.
  • Prioritize safety, security, and environmental protection while ensuring the well-being of employees, customers, and communities.:
  • Oversee compliance with quality policies and contribute to the continual improvement of the company's Management System.
  • Ensure high service quality standards and take action when quality issues or non-conformances arise.
  • Develop and standardize quality control procedures, inspection test plans, and work instructions.
  • Implement Non-Conformances and Cost of Quality reduction strategies, driving toward Zero Defects and Zero Quality Escapes.
  • Collect and analyze quality performance data using statistical tools to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive defect reduction and minimize process variability in manufacturing-related processes.
  • Coordinate and perform internal process audits and prepare inspection test reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, especially in relation to manufacturing quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Lean Continuous Improvement teams to drive quality improvements.:
  • Manage costs within the set budget and support efficient facility operations.
