Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000
Job Summary:
This role ensures product quality levels are met by overseeing inspection activities and leading process improvement initiatives using quality tools and methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops inspection and test plans based on contractual requirements.
- Coordinates product verification for production and procurement processes.
- Leads process improvement projects.
- Collaborates with Operations/Engineering to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepares reports on departmental activities, quality problems, and cost of quality.
- Participates in organizational planning meetings.
- Understands customer contract requirements and quality expectations.
- Issues corrective actions and verifies their effectiveness.
- Conducts internal audits and supports product assessments.
- Adheres to ethical standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques, GD&T, and drawing interpretation.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines and programming.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform under pressure.
- Must be able to walk and navigate steps for program-related activities.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 7-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
- Aerospace background
- Ability to obtain DoD Confidential Clearance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- U.S. Person status required.
