As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.
* Responsible for coordination with value stream teams to quantify, identify, and eliminate sources for quality defects
* Implement processes improvements to positively impact process efficiency and reduce non-conforming costs
* Lead and create 8D investigation reports based on customer feedback
* Support compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 by supporting and improving the current QMS. Audit processes and provide feedback and follow-up
* Participate in Kaizen, Six Sigma and other Quality events to support continuous improvement activities
* Project Management and Organization Skills
* Solid understanding of engineering principles and applications
* Ability to complete multiple tasks effectively, including work prioritization and program management to specifications, schedules and budgets in a result-oriented environment
* Must have excellent communication skills to explain product design and related testing to all levels and technical abilities
* Prefered Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
* Competency in applied statistical methods (Six Sigma), Data analytics, Lean techniques preferred
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with presentation skills
