As part of the CRH Infrastructure Products business, we are leading the industry with innovative, sustainable solutions with a safety-first mindset.SummaryThe Quality Engineer Technician is responsible for determining product standards by establishing quality control systems and setting product requirement rules in line with governing standards (AWWA, ASTM, etc.)This position will be a key resource in implementing effective quality controls, teach production staff how to use them, and supervisor outcomes. This position will also work with the Colfax, NC location to ensure consistency and manage projects related to Quality Control improvements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify and determine quality improvement factorsImplements methods to inspect, test, and evaluate the reliability of the manufacturing processes, products, and production equipmentEnsure processes adhere to quality standardsPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing dataOffers technical guidance and support in response to quality testing and analysisCollaborates with various departments to ensure quality standards are metStrong knowledge of governing standards such as AWWA and ASTMCommunication SkillsAttention to detailAnalysis, critical thinking and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlinesPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
