Youwill be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of several key areas of responsibility, including overall program Quality business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, talent development, training, and knowledge continuity.What You Will Be DoingAs the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Quality Engineering and as an Adviser for the Quality team. You will be required to stay current with industry standards, and solutions and leverage technology into MFC. Your responsibilities will include: Drive strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development Develop and implement processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks. Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to ensure quality standards are in place. Effectively communicate with both suppliers and the USG Customer. Ability to influence outcomes Establish Program Quality Management System that comply with customer requirements and governmental regulatory standards. Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and Fire Control policies and procedures. Establish performance metrics and conducting data analysis to identify process improvements. Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using tools like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action. Liaison between program and the Customer to ensure Customer satisfaction and accomplishment of Customer requirements. Develop talent to strengthen the organization. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications: Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System Experienced as a team lead and facilitator Experience implementing material review boards and dispositioning non-conformances Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products Experience in making risk-based data driven decisions Advance understanding and experience doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques Knowledge of Configuration Management and control processes Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Demonstrated presentation skills Ability to travelDesired Skills: Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product / performance specifications and other systems integration technical data Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Special Process Engineering experience ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) SAP Application experience CAM trained / certified Experience working with a Government customer in a sustainment environmentSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
