Ensures all surveillance and reporting duties for quality improvement are completed within regulatory guidelines. This includes data collection, analysis and reporting with intervention development aimed at improving quality of care for patients. Audits patient charts and implements surveillance activities to ensure all quality and regulatory standards are being met. Analyzes data collected and makes recommendations for process improvements. Assists in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures designed to enhance quality care. Prepares reports and completes dashboards. Coordinates QAPI meetings and minutes. Works as a member of an interdisciplinary team to drive quality improvement initiatives. Ensures all medical standard operating procedures are compliant with state and federal regulations. Works with interdisciplinary team to ensure all accreditation standards are met. Other duties as assigned to support the organization.This position may require travel between facilities as needed and covering Quality Improvement Coordinator at other facilities if needed.Duties may include but are not limited to:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Section A):Quality ImprovementAssist the Director with policy, procedure, and annual Hospital Quality Assurance Plan development and review.Responsible for coordinating/preparing, leading, and keeping the minutes at the monthly Quality and Safety (QAPI) Committee meetings.Assist departments with Quality Improvement Projects and Quality documentation, including department rounds and survey prep.Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting for quality measures to appropriate internal and external departments and agencies.Provide education to department leadership on QAPI responsibilities, documentation requirements, and expectations.Works within interdisciplinary leadership team to ensure appropriate data is reported, trends are identified, and quality improvement projects are appropriate.Keeps department and executive leadership informed of any changes in reporting requirementsProvides reports to department leadership, executive leadership, Medical Staff and Board of Directors as needed and appropriate.Develops tools and/or dashboards share quality data and metrics.Provides input to establish metrics and benchmarks for the organization.ABOUT AMBERWELL HEALTH:Amberwell Health is a healthcare system dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve, providing compassionate healthcare with clinical excellence.   • Experience:
    • Minimum Required Experience: 1-3 years' experience in related field, experience with excel and Microsoft.
  • Preferred Experience: healthcare experience, proficient in using Excel and Microsoft and Meditech; medical coding experience.
  • Education:
    • Minimum Required Education: High School graduate.
