It is an exciting time to join SIM quality as we prepare to embark on our magnet journey! Ideal candidate has regulatory, infection prevention, and/or quality experience but I am willing to train for the correct mission fit. SIM Quality has many initiatives underway to promote patient safety and to lean into our leaders with ease of data/support. Daily tasks may include: communication with leadership and front line colleagues regarding safety, IP, or quality topics, attending daily safety huddle, rounding on units for EOC and infection prevention tasks, developing and refining processes and policies to promote patient safety and quality, review micro test results and notify appropriate agencies, develop and put into action improvement plans from ACA and RCA's, promote an environment of constant survey readiness, and so much more!Position Specifics: •Department: Quality•Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs./wk, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM•Facility: Holy Family Greenville and St. Joseph's Highland, Primary Holy FamilyEducation Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, public health, business or a related field is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years of experience in quality, healthcare, mathematics, statistics or related field may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Experience Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience in nursing, healthcare, infection prevention, quality improvement or related field is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or Certificated Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) is preferred.
