Together, we provide high quality care to diverse individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay.ResponsibilitiesQuality Improvement & Quality AssuranceAssures completion of the QA/QI Plan. Assures the Quality Committee is meeting the responsibilities outlined in the plan.Assures QA/QI is annually evaluated for compliance, reviewed by the appropriate committee and prepared to Board of Directors for approval.Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.Facilitate regular peer review meetings and discussions to evaluate the quality of care provided by providers and other staff and identify opportunities for improvement.Risk ManagementFacilitate regular peer review meetings and discussions to evaluate the quality of care provided by providers and other staff and identify opportunities for improvement.Assures Risk Management Plan is annually evaluated for compliance, reviewed by the appropriate committee and prepared to Board of Directors for approval.Prepares reports for the quarterly Risk Management meeting in coordination with the Senior Director of Quality.Coordinate quarterly review of FTCA complianceData & ReportingPrepare regular reports for leadership, grant requirements and regulatory agencies.Identifies and integrates data from multiple sources to create strategic and operational reports.Works with clinical staff to customize clinical protocols and workflows to support the efficient use of the EHR.Understands current standards and requirements of UDS and communicates and supports efforts to ensure the health center stays current with standards.Quality InitiativesStay informed about changes in regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to healthcare quality and compliance.Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.Responsible for the oversight of the Quality CoordinatorFunctions as the site Manager On Duty (MOD), able to complete all the tasks of MOD, train new managers to the role of MOD and support assignments of monthly coverage calendar for MOD.RequirementsBachelor's degree required. Training in public health preferred. FQHC or similar experience.Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
