Job Description:
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and general specifications
  • Computer skills and use of computer programs
  • Understands and effectively utilize desktop applications and manufacturing systems as required
  • Demonstrates the knowledge of inspection techniques and product attributes
Qualifications – Education/Experience:
  • High school or equivalent
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Typically requires 1 year of prior manufacturing experience
  • IPC-1620 certification a plus but not required
Duties/Responsibilities: (Position Specific)
  • Ability to use a microscope with reticle or dazor to inspect components
  • Ability to measure product attributes using micrometers, calipers and tape measure
  • Ability to read and understand Blue Print / Drawings
  • Performs operations as defined by specifications
  • Achieve IPC-620 certification
  • Achieve productivity standards
  • Achieve quality targets
  • Is accountable for individual results
  • Adheres to established safety practices, environmental management and quality systems requirements
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
  • Requires visual acuity (visual ability to resolve fine detail) and manual dexterity (fine hand and finger movements)
  • Requires limited supervision for routine processes, can implement changes with detailed instruction
  • Must be available for overtime work
  • Must be able to lift at least 10lbs frequently; up to 35lbs occasionally, and heavier weights with assistance
  • Must be able to wear required safety protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes and glasses
  • May work in a clean room environment and wear clean room attire
  • Must be able to work with or around chemicals
