Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Read manufacturing blueprints and contracts to ensure that all part specifications are abided by.
  • Accurately use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and scale rulers.
  • Inspect parts while in-process and at the final level.
  • Perform necessary MRP and DBR transactions.
  • Perform first article inspections.
  • Perform additional tests, as needed, including pressure, leakage, and tensile.
  • Facilitate source inspections
  • Verify part marking for proper identification as required by customer.
  • Research quality requirements for upcoming jobs.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.
Marginal Duties
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
  • Be actively engaged in the department's 6S program and complete all necessary paperwork.

  • Diligent in researching all requirements using all resources.
  • Self-Confidence in explaining and confirming inspection results.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written with coworkers and customers.
  • Strong attention to details especially with data entry, inspections, and inspection reports.
  • Proceed with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledgeable of and when to use effective resources.
Work Qualifications:
  • Formal education: No specific educational requirements.
  • Experience: No specific experience required.
  • Computer Skills: Must be able to use common office software systems.
  • Certificates and Licenses: None required.
