This person is expected to use basic mathematics and computer/software skills in the performance of this position. This position is a significant component of the Silfex Quality System. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on parts and compare to known specifications.
- Understand and be able to complete all documentation requirements for inspections as performed.
- Read and understand work instructions to determine procedure for testing.
- Ready product for customers.
- Know and understand specification criteria prior to performing inspection functions.
- Develop job proficiency.
- Perform tasks under direct supervision during the training cycle.
- Manage time effectively.
- Perform all work-related tasks in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to Silfex management.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality and Operating Procedures as appropriate.
- Ensure the cleanliness and order of inspection and test stations.
- Follow all company safety policies and report any unsafe conditions to Manufacturing Manager, EHS Manager, and/ or Director of Manufacturing
- Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing Qualify Assurance experience
- Must be a high school graduate or have a General Education Degree (GED)
- Knowledge and understanding of inspection criteria - Preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Must be able to work effectively individually and in a team environment
- Must be able to pay close attention to details
- Must be able to perform successfully under supervision
- Previous work experience preferred
