Quality Inspector - 3rd shift Sunday through Thursday 11pm - 7am***Train on 1st shift Monday through Friday 7am - 3pm***Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Quality Manager, this position is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of the parts and components used or created at the company meet or exceed expectations through inspection and verification against accepted standards.
- Perform inspections, walk between work centers to very quality of parts
- Record finished production into inventory
- Assist QM with projects
- Work close with production team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of quality processes, statistical process control experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Must be a self-starter capable of working efficiently & effectively with minimal supervision, good oral communicator, methodical, meticulous and observant.
- Knowledge of production processes and products
- Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, tape measure, micrometers, go/no go and various other gauges.
- Ability to obtain a lift truck operator certification.
- Ability to be on their feet and mobile for an eight-hour shift. This position requires a good deal of walking through the shift.
