The Quality Assurance Analyst plays an important role in ensuring the quality standards of products are met. This position will work closely with operators, shift supervisors, and engineers to assure all suspect material is identified, procedures are carried through, and training/education is conducted to ensure future success and high-quality standards are met.The hours for this position will be Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7:15AM. Some overtime may be required based on business need.Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine quality audits (inspection of samples of molded components).
- Identify Non-conforming material and work with press operators and shift supervisors to assure all suspect material is documented.
- Identify abnormal conditions as indicated by statistical software and communicate these with high priority to the responsible Quality Engineer.
- Support the training of production operators ok key areas of concern and understanding of measurement tools.
- Improve quality of press through operator empowerment and training.
- Perform press evaluations during rounds.
- Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or delegated
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and experience.
- Ability to learn or can perform precise measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to learn systems and, instruments, tools, and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
