Job Type Full-time Description
- Be able to read and interpret instructions, specifications and blue prints for the inspection of plastic molded parts.
- Use and possess knowledge of measuring equipment including height gages, calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc. during checks and inspections of materials and production, in process and finished.
- Sort and inspect production parts as required. Perform in-process and final audits for production.
- Assist in training operators in quality systems and expectations.
- Organize and maintain production inspection areas.
- Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess safe work practices and be knowledgeable of OSHA related standards.
- Responsible for all ISO procedures, reporting requirements and work instructions related to the position, including computer usage as needed.
- Must be able to lift and or move materials up to 25 pounds routinely, 35-45 pounds occasionally.
- Normal work hours for B shift are 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm and for C shift 11:15 pm to 7:45 am (Sunday night to Friday morning). Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED is required. Related technical coursework is preferable.
- Computer literate.
- Proficient blue print reading.
- Basic math skills.
- Two years' experience with injection molding quality or production.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent attendance as verified by prior experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of energy and motivation
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to work with various individuals in a workplace that values diversity.
Salary Description $18-$21 per hour
