Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is On-Site at the location detailed in the job post. Eaton's IS AER FED is currently seeking a Quality Inspector. This position is based out of our Glenolden, PA facility. Core hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm. The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: This position is Safety Sensitive and is subject to random testing under our Drug and Alcohol Abatement program. • Perform verification inspection of Eaton's supplier's detailed components. • Perform verification inspection of Eaton's product for compliance to customer's requirements. • Assist customer source inspectors as required. • Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment. • Need thorough knowledge of measurement systems, techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Need knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods • Be familiar with the requirements of ISO and AS9000 Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications: • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in manufacturing and/or military environment. • Minimum of two (2) years' experience reading and interpreting blueprints • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Glenolden, PA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Skills: • Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Technical Degree • Ability to operate CMM • Inspection equipment programming • AS13001 certification • Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, comparator, thread gauge.
