Job Description:
• Inspect and test supplier supplied materials, assess and verify conformance to specifications and assess and verify vendor capability Must be a self-starter with the ability to complete assignments on time.• Inspect and test customer returns; coordinate repair and calibration activities of customer owned product; facilitate activities associated with returns for credit and other RMA issues• Inspect and test in-process products to assess conformance to specifications and verify production process capability • Inspect and test final products to assess conformance to specifications and verify process capability• Record results of all inspection and testing activities, display/report results in the appropriate format to support effective communication, analysis and decision making and records requirements• Maintain quality records including Device History Files and other inspection and test records accurately and completely • Assist Engineering with establishing, interpreting, maintaining and improving quality standards for product performance, reliability and appearance • Apply, or assure the application of, labeling to finished products as required: Serial number labels, certification (CE) and related • Operate various inspection and test equipment in executing quality control/assurance testing and inspection procedures and operations including, but not limited to:• X-ray imaging equipment (training provided)• Ultrasound imaging equipment (training provided)• Measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.• Linear scales• Surface plates• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time• Be knowledgeable and follow Quality Management System policies and procedures • Be knowledgeable and follow Safety policy and procedures • Management has the right to add or change duties at any time Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
