- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) year Technical Degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control regulated industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications:
- ASQ Certification (preferred).
- Skills:
- Knowledge and experience operating the following inspection tools:
- Caliper
- Micrometer
- Optical Comparator
- CMM
- Pin Gages
- Microscope
- Knowledge and experience operating advanced measurement systems:
- Basic computer skills required to perform job duties.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming or first article inspections.
- Create supporting records and reports.
- Coordinate, perform, and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with Spiration Inc. requirements.
- Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.
- Perform final/sterile release of products and in-process inspections.
- Conduct label inspections and DHR final reviews.
- Execute specified functional inspection tests.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Assist co-workers with training on quality standards and requirements.
- Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel.
- Initiate NCRs (non-conforming reports) when quality standards are not met and assist in MRB activities.
- Assist Quality Engineers with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies.
- Coach operations staff on quality requirements.
- Operate advanced measurement systems.
- Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.
- Perform all other essential related duties as required.
