Through decades of growth, innovation, and dedication, MW Industries has proven to be a world-class supplier of custom springs, fasteners, and precision metal components.Job Summary:The Quality Control Tech II provides general administrative support to the Quality Control Department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical functions including filing, scanning, data entry, and digital document storage.
- Prepare, organize, and file Quality, Production, Inspection and Shipping Records.
- Provide administrative support and assistance to the Quality Control Department as needed.
- Organize and prepare a report on the work orders in-process in the Quality Control Department.
- Provide administrative support for the management of purchase orders to outside service vendors.
- Perform data entry and retrieve information from the enterprise software system (Visual).
- Provide administrative support for the management of the tool calibration system.
- Provide additional administrative support to the General Manager and Management Staff.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work.
- Knowledge of and ability to use enterprise software (Visual, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Fundamental understanding of the activities and requirements of the Quality Control Department.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support Quality Control Department personnel.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of office/administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of advanced education (Associate's Degree) and experience.
- FAI and PPAP experience required
