Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect product to determine compliance with order specifications and companys quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate inspection results and status to management and Engineering as applicable.
- Generate ideas and suggestions on reducing inspection turnaround time.
- Examine companys records to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
- Complete visual inspection
- Stamp mark of approval or rejection on product and write report of examinations.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of manufacturing or quality experience preferred.
- Industry experience preferred.
- Specification interpretation competence required.
- Experience with mechanical and configuration hardware such as fasteners, brackets, wire forms, seals, connectors, required.
- Mechanical inspection skills including use of calipers, micrometers, etc. required.
- Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, internet research, and e-mail required.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with little supervision required.
- Sense of urgency required.
- Ability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines required.
