Position Summary: As a Quality Inspector, you'll ensure that both in-process and finished parts meet stringent quality specifications. You'll collaborate across teams to uphold the highest production standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce quality standards in coordination with engineering, sales, and production departments.
- Perform PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to meet exacting customer specifications.
- Conduct inspections and advise on welding and machining procedures, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Review vendor documentation to ensure accuracy and resolve any deviations from blueprints.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in statistical process control and experience in quality certification programs.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and familiarity with SAGE, AutoCAD, and Excel.
- Expertise in AWS and ASME standards, particularly with hands-on welding inspections.
- Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2008 quality systems and relevant regulations.
- 3-5 years of relevant quality work experience and CWI preferred.
