Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Inspector to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Rochester, NY Hourly pay is $18.68-22.49 an hour plus a $1.25 dollar shift differential Come join this leading vertically integrated medical device manufacturing platform partner of the world's most recognized and trusted brands in medical devices. Essential Duties:
  • Works from drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions using an assortment of measuring tools, fixtures and equipment such as CMMs, Smart Scopes, micrometers, verniers, gauge pins, height gauges, etc.
  • Executes CMM / Smart Scope programs after fixturing parts.
  • Performs material moisture checks.
  • Performs visual and dimensional checks of first piece, in-process and/or finished products.
  • Works with designated Team Members to understand part quality deviations when necessary.
  • Communicates visual and dimensional non conformances with Operations in a timely manner.
  • Identification and Containment of Non-Conforming product.
  • Prepares and completes required reports and departmental forms. Maintains records either
  • manually or electronically.
  • Good documentation practices
Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years on the job inspection experience to acquire familiarity with methods,
procedures, tools and equipment and to perform the work proficiently - preferred
  • Must have good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to positively motivate others
  • Must be self-motivated
