We are hiring a Quality Inspector to support our client, who specializes in product engineering, automation systems, and contract manufacturing for innovation clients. Job Summary: Conduct a range of inspections within the Electrical Industry, applying your expertise to various levels of assembly and manufacturing. This includes first article, in-process, and final inspections of complex printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections of complex cable and harness assemblies.
- Document inspection results, including deviations from engineering specifications, with detailed written descriptions.
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of complex PCB assemblies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection documentation, noting any deviations from engineering standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years working in the PCB industry.
- Proficient in working with assembly blueprints, bills of materials, circuit CAM documentation, or equivalent.
- Experienced in using inspection tools such as microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and the First Article Inspection process.
- Familiar with inspection reporting practices.
- Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls.
