We are currently hiring Quality Inspectors for a growing manufacturing company in Skagit County, WA. These direct-hire roles offer comprehensive benefits and long-term growth opportunities. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies, including First Article, in process, incoming raw materials, and final inspection. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform thorough primary and first article inspections.
- Perform thorough receiving inspections.
- Audit work packages, ensuring that all assigned work has been properly completed and documented.
- Perform continuity inspections, ensuring that previously noted and subsequently repaired items have been properly completed and documented.
- Research and retrieve technical data.
- Interprets blueprints, drawings, and other technical data.
- Follows all safety procedures.
- Attends work-related training as scheduled.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years' experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with measuring and testing devices such as calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.
- Ability to use ERP and Microsoft Office suite
Working conditions:
- Pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
- Lifting and handling objects up to 50 pounds
- Standing for 10-hour shifts
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels
