This can occur when unpacking shipments from vendors, sorting products in assembly or preparing finished products for out shipments. Ensure quality, regulatory and manufacturing requirements are consistently met. Identify and segregate non-conforming items from the production line and reporting them to management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSConducts designated visual inspections and dimensional checks on fabricated and manufactured partsRead blueprints, schematics and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standardsRecommending any necessary changes to production processes based on inspection findings.Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend improving product qualityMaintains required records and prepares all paperwork relating to inspectionAbility to use measuring devices and equipmentPerform incoming, in-process and Final inspections to verify conformity of productAccept or reject finished production line work through work instruction and standardsMaintain a clean and safe work area.Ensure tools are calibrated and maintained.JOB QUALIFICATIONS3 years experience in quality control, must be in a metal working or manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma; some college or post-secondary certificate preferredDetail oriented and meticulousWorking knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assuranceProficient in measurement tool usage (tape measure, micrometer, caliper, etc.)Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenBasic computer skills (Excel, Word, E-mail).Ability to work well with others,Ability to work with little supervisionWORK ENVIRONMENTWork in a manufacturing environment.Work with sheet metal, coils and other parts requiring use of hand tools.Work with other employees, vendors, and client requests.*PLEASE CLICK APPLY ON PACAREERLINK PA.
