Quality Inspector$22-25 / HR | West Columbia, SCOverview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, as well as documenting and reporting any issues.Responsibilities:Performing quality inspection on metal fabricated parts.In process and receiving inspection.Knowledge of CMM and ISO 9001.Maintain certifications of calibration on all guage assets.Perform calibration activities to verify the capability and performance of gauges.Test equipment by comparison to traceable measurement standards.Maintain communication with all departments in an effort to resolve any quality characteristics in question.Select and use all necessary instruments: measuring machines, sine bars, comparators, guage blocks, micrometers, vernier scales, surface indicators, hardness testers, and calipers.Qualifications:Machining or steel fabrication experience preferred.Minimum of 3 years in quality inspection with metal fabricated products.Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.Good communciation and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Work Environment:Machine Shop.Train on 1st shift, may move to 2nd depending on needs.Semi climate controlled.Independent and team driven work.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Interested candidates should submit their resume & apply for the position!Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.• Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in West Columbia,SC.Application DeadlineThis position will be accepting applications until Dec 9, 2024.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
