A leading manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Quality Inspector to join our their team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet the highest standards of quality. If you have an eye for detail, experience using hand tools and measuring instruments, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you!
salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials and components for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Accurately input data into internal systems for inventory and quality tracking.
Conduct in-process inspections during manufacturing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform final quality audits of products as needed before shipment or final assembly.
Use hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
Keep detailed records of inspection results and non-conformance issues, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
Retrieve prints from files or electronic databases and interpret them to accurately measure parts.
Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Shipping/Receiving departments to address quality-related issues.
Be available to work overtime and Saturdays as needed to meet production and inspection demands.
