As the Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of materials, components, and finished products in accordance with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management system requirements. Your role is crucial in maintaining product integrity and compliance with industry regulations. Essential Functions Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against AS9100 standards. Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to perform thorough evaluations. Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records of quality data. Identify non-conformities and collaborate with engineering and production teams to initiate corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement strategies. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other applicable regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures. Provide support during external audits and inspections. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field preferred. 3 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in an ISO 9000, AS9100 or aerospace environment. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools. Proficient in using precision measurement and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams.
