Wixon has an immediate opening in our Quality Department for a Quality Inspector.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Include:Conduct in-process evaluation on blended products to ensure color, odor, consistency, and moisture is acceptable prior to final packaging.Complete aseptic sampling activities as directed by quality programs.Assemble necessary receipt paperwork and samples for transport to the Quality Department.Conduct inspections on outbound shipments to ensure product integrity, pallet integrity, item and lot accuracy, quantity accuracy, ship to locations and PO accuracy, and condition of outbound trailer.Review production and receiving documentation to ensure critical information (i.e. metal detector checks, weight checks, quantity, lot information, etc.) is documented and complete.The ideal candidate must demonstrate a consistent work history and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
