Position Summary The Quality Team Lead oversees and executes a collection of tasks associated to quality requirements on customer orders. Train and develop quality team members. Collect and report out monthly RMA and NCR data.Essential Functions
  • Process RMAs and create RMA Work Orders in Mie Trak
  • Log and maintain RMA NCR data for reporting purposes
  • Asses complied RMA data monthly and target areas for improvement
  • Create First Article Reports
  • Collect customer requested certifications and deliver them via email
  • Support other facets of the Quality Department when required
  • Ability to process timecards and vacation requests
  • Follow applicable procedures and work instructions and offer ideas for improvement
  • Provide solutions to less experienced team members
  • Support all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Wear proper PPE for job function being performed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Skill in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in using hand measuring tools
  • Proficient in using inspection measurement equipment

Education & Professional Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years' experience in sheet metal and CNC machining environment preferred
  • Experience in prototyping preferred
  • Basic blueprint reading and GD&T courses required
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, inspection equipment, and handle and feel parts of various size
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch occasionally throughout a shift
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift 50lb moderately throughout a workday
  • Ability to focus vision for: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjusting to sharp focus
  • Noise conditions can be moderate to extreme. Hearing protection will be provided if needed and/or by request
  • Exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles
  • Moving mechanical parts and vibration
  • Exposure to hot metal and machining components
  • Manufacturing environment where temperatures drastically change from season to season
  • Fast-paced environment
Work Hours/Travel
  • 1st shift work schedule: 5 - 8-hour shifts
  • Overtime as necessary (including weekends if needed)
  • Flexible schedule in agreement with Supervisor
