Pacific Coast Fresh Company takes pride in developing employees and recruiting from within, and we hope this position is just the beginning of your career with us.What you'll do...Ensure all inbound and outbound product meets quality standardsWork closely with Buyers, QA, and Operations to communicate needs and opportunitiesPartner with Sales to understand and define customer expectationsCommunicate with Re-Work to ensure proper day-to-day operationsParticipate in internal and external quality auditsReport to management on quality and food safety issues and trendsMentor others to ensure training is complete and thoroughModel firm accountability in all areas holding self and others to high standards of performance, knowledge, and actionsRecord and check ripening rooms for proper operationTrain Quality Inspectors and bring them up to speed on all responsibilities listed aboveWhat we look for...At least 1 year of warehouse experience. Produce experience preferredAbility to multi-task as well as plan and carry out projects with well-defined goals and outcomesExcellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organizationAbility to act with honesty and integrity and perform work at a level which promotes a positive image of Pacific Coast Fresh Company within the organization and the marketplaceBasic computer skills. Proficiency with Produce Pro or other WMS preferredImpeccable attention to detailAbility to lift at least 50 lbs. and work extended periods of time in cold temperatures.
