Conduct activities and functions in quality control covering inspection, measuring and testing of incoming material and company products during its production processes and final products in
accordance to the standards and specifications requirement. Perform other duties as per request within agreed job competences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
* Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production.
* Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
* Documents inspection results by completing reports, logs, and inputs data into quality database.
* Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements.
* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures and complying with company regulations.
* Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
* minimum 1 year in quality control
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Good team work and exhibits positive attitude.
* Interpersonal and people management skills.
* Computer literate possess basic technical drawing interpretation skill.
* Able to handle inspection tools and basic measuring equipment such as caliper, micrometer
* and height gauge.
* Ability to work independently with initiative.
* This position does not require the use of or skill for operating powered industrial vehicles.
Exposure in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.
Work Arrangement : Onsite Friday thru Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
