We are currently searching for dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. R&M Manufacturing was founded in 1968 to produce precision sheet metal components. Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What is a Quality Inspector? Quality inspectors prevent unsatisfactory products from being part of the completed job. A quality inspector is responsible for examining materials for flaws and deviations from the original product specifications. Quality inspectors inspect, accept, or reject products for durability, function, customer satisfaction and overall quality. The primary role of inspectors at this level is to support the production, packaging, and warehouse operations. These inspectors will be required to perform post clean-up inspections, sample testing. This function is directly tied to the day-to-day operation of equipment and the production of product. In this role, you will: Inspect product to determine if it meets quality and standard Monitor the quality of all products leaving the facility Troubleshoot cause when parts do not conform to specs Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards To succeed in this role, you must: Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors, and other measuring tools Have good math ability and problem-solving skills Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications efficiently Stand and walk frequently and lift objects up to 50 pounds We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently.
