NY1514575 Quality Lab Technician needed for Square One Coating in Oriskany, NY.Pay rate is $20.00 per hour.JOB PURPOSE Perform analytical process for all operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure quality. Maintain documentation as required and provide results as well as tank maintenance requirements. The position also inspects and audits purchased product, and any outsourced product. Review Certificates of Analysis to ensure vendor compliance. Performs Periodic testing per NADCAP requirements. Internal auditing of production processes per AS9100 and NADCAP standards are to be performed.JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY Use of analytical equipment to verify solution control of plating process tanks: Titration equipment, Hach tester, Hull Cells, X- Ray, weight measurement scales, pH and ORP test equipment pin gauges, micrometers, analytical, and any other test equipment as required In process inspection of product per customer specifications and internal specifications. Maintaining data in the Chemtrex software to use as feedback for both process control and process improvement as well as any other. Maintain all records for Nadcap Periodic testing and verify results.Incoming inspection of vendor supplied product and maintaining records on this. Process Auditing. Product line process auditing to guarantee AS9100 and Nadcap compliance annually. Working with production to achieve goals set per the QMS Plan. Calibration of equipment in the Lab and maintaining the corresponding documentation.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required.)EducationRequired: A.A.S. in an associated field w/ laboratory experience or A.A.S Chemistry Preferred: B.S. in an associated field w/ laboratory experience or B.S. ChemistryExperience Required:At least (1) year of on the job training minimum. Ability to take direction and orders and execute them efficiently. Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multitask. Previous experience working in a standardized quality environment.Special Knowledge/Skills Required:Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents that pertain to quality functions (TDS, customer specifications, mil specifications) Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to interact with fellow employees, customers, and vendors, in a professional manner. Ability to maintain company ethics.
