JOB SUMMARY Toledo Ice Cream has an immediate job opening for a Quality Laboratory Technician who will: Test all raw, intermediate, and finished products as well as collecting and testing environmental samples according to established procedures. Discover and prevent defects and improve quality. Work with a high degree of accuracy and concentration to produce valid test results in a timely manner. Comprehensive healthcare benefits & 401(k) Work for dairy farm families Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform lab duties including sample setup/sorting, preparation, and clean-up Perform testing of raw, intermediate, and finished products as well as with collecting and testing environmental samples according to established procedures Complete data entry into the computer system(s); maintain lab records as directed Wash lab utensils and glassware; assist with other clean-up activities Assist with calibrating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation as directed Provide general laboratory assistance as needed Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
