Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our Timken Aurora Bearing team and play a key role in optimizing our production processes to meet customer demands effectively.Position Overview:The Quality Assurance Lab Technician will prepare and analyze mounted and sectioned bearings, document results, and maintain accurate records. In addition, they will perform analyses and testing on various products within the R&D Lab, following established protocols, and contribute to product quality assurance.Key Responsibilities:Set and utilize all required gauges for inspections.Document and file records of inspections meticulously.Interpret blueprints to verify product conformance.Mount, section, polish, and review bearings for microscopic analysis.Conduct testing to validate liner adhesion, conformity, and performance.Analyze products using microscopic equipment.Prepare comprehensive reports, charts, and graphs summarizing test results.Control inventory of supplies and reorder as necessary.Move parts to and from work areas, and perform weigh-counting on electronic scales to ensure accuracy.Qualifications:Proficient in operating mount, section, and polish equipment preferred.Experienced with photo microscopes, pull scales, and proof load testers preferred.Solid math skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Join our team and contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards in our products!All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
