Description & Requirements

ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Quality Manager III in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

* Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.

* Ensuring products adhere to quality standards.

* Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

* Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products.

* Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of products.

* Tracking products through the development process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.

* Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products, ensuring the products are up to requirements and user needs.

* Identifying process improvement opportunities and software development risk reduction activities.

* Supervising and mentoring subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Basic qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business field.

* 9 years of position-relevant work experience.

* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Project.

* Experience in Government QA project environment.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience providing quality management with software development and IT service management projects.

* Relevant industry standard certifications such as Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or PMP.

* Experience auditing to external quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20000, AS9100, and CMMI development.

* Experience with peer reviews and process auditing. Experience collecting and analyzing metrics.

Security clearance requirement:

* Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

Physical requirements:

* Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

* Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
