Understanding customer expectations and needs, outlining quality standards and developing quality control processes.Responsibilities & Duties• Developing quality control processes and designing product specifications.• Ensuring products are designed with adherence to legal and safety standards.• Supervising staff and monitoring production standards.• Examining the quality of raw materials that are used in production.• Monitoring and evaluating internal production processes.• Evaluating final output of products to determine their quality.• Evaluating product recalls and improving production efficiency and managing waste.• Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.• 5+ years of experience• Quality control certification a plus.• Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication.• Data analysis and statistical aptitude.• Excellent communication skillsSalary: 90K-110K DOEAdditional Job DetailsEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
